Send Flowers to Wrocław, Poland

Wrocław is the capital of Lower Silesia, a city of islands and bridges on the Oder, with a colourful Market Square, hundreds of bronze dwarfs and a big student and tech population. Many Wrocławians work abroad, and they send flowers to parents in Krzyki and Fabryczna, friends in Śródmieście and Stare Miasto, and family in the newer estates of Psie Pole.

In Poland, Mother's Day falls on 26 May. Wrocław's academic calendar also drives demand: thesis defences and graduations in June and July, and the start of the year in October. Name days are celebrated, Women's Day on 8 March is tulip day, and Valentine's Day is popular with younger couples. On All Saints' Day, 1 November, chrysanthemums fill Osobowicki and Grabiszyński cemeteries, and sympathy wreaths can be sent to funeral homes. For hospital deliveries, the University Clinical Hospital on Borowska and the Lower Silesian Oncology Centre are frequent destinations.

Wrocław is on Central European Time, one hour ahead of the UK and six hours ahead of the US East Coast. Order before midnight local time and your bouquet arrives the next day. We need a phone number for the recipient: the florist calls to confirm, and if nobody is in, the courier arranges a second attempt. Roses, lilies, mixed bouquets and potted plants are available throughout the year.
