Send Flowers to Płock, Poland

Płock is a historic city in central Poland on a high bank of the Vistula, about 110 kilometres west of Warsaw in the Masovian region. It is known for its cathedral and castle hill, its old town, and for the large Orlen refinery that drives the local economy. Many families from Płock have relatives in the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium or the United States who send flowers for birthdays, name days, anniversaries and condolences.

In Poland, Mother's Day falls on 26 May. In Płock, Women's Day on 8 March and Grandmother's Day on 21 January are observed with bouquets, and the Audioriver festival in summer draws visitors to the riverbank. On All Saints' Day, 1 November, chrysanthemums and candles cover the cemeteries. For funerals, wreaths and bouquets carry a sash with the sender's name.

Order before midnight Polish time for next-day delivery and include the recipient's phone number: the florist calls ahead and rearranges if nobody answers. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and potted plants are readily available in Płock.
