In Bielsko-Biała, the mountain setting makes summer and the Christmas season times when relatives come home, and Women's Day on 8 March is celebrated with bouquets. Wedding season runs from May to September. On 1 November, All Saints' Day, families bring chrysanthemums to the cemeteries. For funerals, a wreath or bouquet with a sash is customary.
